Headless, or so-called headless architecture, is an approach to building e-Commerce where the frontend (what the customer sees) and the backend (the engine) are separated and operate independently. In practice, this means that one Shopware headless store can have multiple “fronts” – tailored specifically to each device (desktop, mobile, PoS, etc.).
