The project for Zakłady Ceramiczne “BOLESŁAWIEC” had one main goal – to regain full control over e-Commerce and build a solid foundation for further online sales growth. Within 7 months, we built a brand-new store on Magento 2 from scratch: fast, stable, compliant with regulations, and well-prepared for SEO activities. As a result, the brand not only solved its existing technical issues but also gained a flexible platform ready for the following stages of expansion.

Client
Zakłady Ceramiczne “BOLESŁAWIEC” is a Polish brand with centuries-old tradition, known worldwide for its hand-decorated functional ceramics. The brand’s products combine craftsmanship and unique design, and its online store is an essential sales channel both in the domestic and international markets.
Project goal
The client came to us with a specific need – to regain control over their online store, which the previous agency had neglected. They wanted the platform to operate stably and quickly, to implement a cookie policy compliant with legal regulations, and to carry out SEO activities recommended by external agencies.
Our task was to complete the transition to the latest version of Magento. However, after conducting a thorough pre-implementation analysis, it turned out that a more cost-effective and stable solution would be to migrate to an entirely new environment.
That’s precisely what we did, starting the implementation work with a new, clean instance of Magento 2. This allowed us to efficiently remove outdated and unused plugins, which significantly improved the store’s performance. We also migrated the store to a new server, ensuring better performance and greater operational reliability.
The next step in our cooperation was implementing the Cookiebot tool for managing data processing consents. In the previous version of the store, this integration caused errors, blocking the checkout process. To prevent this, we made a simple implementation through Google Tag Manager.
In parallel, the development team worked on implementing SEO recommendations provided by external agencies. This allowed the store to achieve better search engine rankings, and its visibility in Google began to improve.
An important stage of this project was also optimizing the integration with the ERP system, which was initially unstable and unprepared for any changes on the store’s side. It was therefore necessary to redesign it to ensure proper communication between the ERP system and Magento.
After implementing the MVP, we smoothly transitioned into the maintenance and development phase.

Fast and stable store
The new Magento 2 instance and improved server environment have significantly boosted the store’s performance. The website now runs faster, easily handles incoming traffic, and provides a seamless shopping experience without frustrating delays. This marks a major improvement over the previous system, where every interaction came with long wait times and user frustration.

Platform compliant with regulations
In the previous version of the Bolesławiec store, placing orders was blocked due to a poorly implemented cookie policy. Thanks to implementing Cookiebot via Google Tag Manager, the store can now meet GDPR requirements and ensure full compliance with regulations, without impacting the customer’s shopping experience.

E-Commerce visible on Google
Right after migration, we implemented all changes recommended by the SEO agencies. This allowed the platform to start effectively competing in search results. Technical SEO was streamlined, and marketing activities now have a real impact on the store’s visibility in Google.

The clean, well-structured store built from scratch enables Zakłady Ceramiczne “BOLESŁAWIEC” to grow online sales without technical limitations.
