Client
Ampak supplies packaging and containers for the food service industry.
Project goal
The client was struggling with issues on a B2B platform built on Drupal. The user experience was especially problematic – due to unintuitive navigation, an unappealing visual layer, and technical bugs. The goal was clear: to build a clean and functional B2B store on Magento, aligned with PWA standards.
We started by defining the MVP scope to begin sales on the new storefront as quickly as possible.
In parallel, we worked on the visual layer. To reduce costs and shorten the timeline, we based the implementation on the ScandiPWA theme.
To meet the expectations of today’s B2B buyers – especially those on smartphones – we decided to go with Magento PWA.
The Satisfly team included 7 specialists: a backend developer, two frontend developers, a UX designer, a tester, a DevOps engineer, and a project manager.
To optimize logistics, we developed a feature that splits shipments based on weight and dimensions. That way, shipping costs are always calculated correctly.
We migrated all products and categories from the old store. As part of marketing support, we also prepared a pack of 30 SEO-friendly product descriptions.
