Balticus is a Polish brand that produces prestigious, premium watches, recognized both in the domestic market and among collectors worldwide. The brand needed a modern store that would properly showcase its limited collections and align with its image. As part of the project, we built an elegant e-Commerce platform on Shopify from scratch, combining minimalist design with features tailored to selling high-end watches. Today, it’s a store that presents products the way they deserve to be presented and supports the brand’s growth in Poland and abroad.

Balticus is a Polish watch brand that has been building its position in the premium segment for years. It’s known for limited series, high-quality craftsmanship, and characteristic, bold design. It combines Polish design thinking with artisanal precision, earning it an excellent reputation not only domestically but also among international collectors. Balticus products are more than just watches – they’re a story of passion, attention to detail, and uniqueness.
Project Goal
Balticus needed a completely new online store that would better showcase premium products and align with the brand’s image. The existing platform didn’t capture the products’ character or properly support sales processes – especially during limited-edition drops.
Our task was to create a store from scratch – modern, clear, and convenient to use. The platform needed to be flexible, ready for growth, and easy for the team to manage day to day. The goal was to create a space that would properly present premium products and make shopping easier for customers, both for standard purchases and during limited releases.
What Did We Do?

Balticus needed a store built from the ground up. We weren’t looking to create another generic platform, but rather a space tailored to the character of a premium brand.
We analyzed user needs and Balticus’s communication style, then selected a Shopify theme that best suited selling high-end products. The entire look and layout of the store were fully personalized – from the layout to the visual details.
We prepared a category structure adapted for different collections, series, and limited models. This makes it easy for customers to find the watches they’re interested in – whether from the “Volans,” “Flying Seal,” “Star Dust,” or other brand series. We focused on a minimalist, elegant interface that concentrates attention on the products and emphasizes the exclusivity of Balticus watches.
Balticus is a brand that doesn’t limit itself to just the Polish market. From the beginning, we knew the store would serve customers from around the world. It had to meet the needs of an international community of collectors, not just those from the domestic market.
That’s why we built the Balticus store in two language versions – Polish and English. Each one isn’t just translated content, but adapted communication that maintains consistency with the brand’s character and works naturally in both languages.
Thanks to multilingual support, Balticus can effectively reach both local customers and international premium watch enthusiasts. It’s a solution that prepares the brand for growth beyond Poland’s borders from day one.
When it comes to premium watches, details matter. Customers and collectors want to know everything about the product – from the clockwork type to the case material and water resistance level.
We created extensive product cards that present the complete technical specifications of each model. Case, movement, crystal, and water resistance – all key parameters are clearly listed on the product page.
This allows customers to make informed purchase decisions, having a complete picture of the product. They don’t have to search for information across different places – everything is gathered in one spot and presented clearly and aesthetically.
One of Balticus’s strong points is limited watch series. Such products require proper availability management and customer communication.
We implemented an inventory management system that automatically displays information like “Sold Out”. Customers immediately see whether a given model is available, which is especially important during drops of new, limited collections.
This solution allows for efficient management of new watch series premieres and maintains transparency in customer communication. Collectors can quickly react to the appearance of models they’re interested in, and the brand can effectively manage sales of exclusive products.
Payments in a premium store must not only be secure but also convenient and aligned with the expectations of different customer groups.
That’s why we integrated the Balticus store with key payment systems – Przelewy24 and Shopify Payments. This allows customers to choose their preferred payment method, regardless of whether they’re buying from Poland or abroad.
The integrations work stably, payments run smoothly, and the entire purchase process is secure and compliant with current standards. It’s a solution that builds customer trust and eliminates barriers when finalizing an order.
Balticus watches aren’t just products – they’re a story about passion, design, and Polish craftsmanship. That’s why the store was designed to support the brand’s storytelling and build an emotional connection with customers.
The site presents the brand’s history, watchmaking philosophy, ambassadors, and the values behind each model. The content is prepared to emphasize the products’ exclusivity and the passion with which they were created.
The result? A store that doesn’t just sell watches, but also tells the brand’s story in a way consistent with its premium character. Customers aren’t just buying a product – they’re buying a part of a bigger story.
Beyond the visual and functional layers, we also addressed the store’s technical foundations. We customized the checkout process to the brand’s needs, optimized page load speed, and implemented basic on-site SEO.
We configured apps and modules for future campaigns and limited-edition drops. We also ensured complete mobile optimization, which was crucial given that over 50% of traffic came from mobile devices. The store was prepared to run smoothly, quickly, and stably – on every device.
