About the client
Carpeto is a brand that has been operating in the home decor industry since 2015. It has over 20,000 machine-woven carpets in its range, which it distributes through an extensive network of partners in Poland and Europe and also uses its own online store.
Project goal
The main aim of this project was to streamline the product information management process in Carpeto’s sales system by migrating from Pimcore, which did not meet the business requirements, to Akeneo PIM, which more closely met the customer’s needs.

Reaching for more with Satisfly
Our company was referred to Carpeto as an e-Commerce agency that has both PIM implementations and Magento in its competencies, which allowed us to respond to all of the customer’s requirements.

- We started the Akeneo PIM implementation with a pre-implementation analysis, which allowed us to base all subsequent actions on real data, which allowed for a smooth implementation process.
- Working on the PIM implementation, we developed the Akeneo product architecture and imported simple products and product models. Thanks to this, all product information was organized, which streamlined the subsequent process of handling them.
- After the Akeneo implementation, we supplied it with products, which allowed the customer to save time on manually entering data into the PIM system.
- After importing all products to Akeneo PIM, we integrated this system with the Magento store using the official Akeneo connector module.

Simple Import
Carpeto wanted to make sure their PIM system was intuitive enough for the current activities within it to be performed independently, without the intervention of developers. The choice of Akeneo PIM was a great solution. The client was able to create a product import file independently and use the native import mechanism to import it into the system.

Efficient Management
After implementing Akeneo PIM, the client can boast an organized system for managing product information, which makes it easy to perform all tasks related to editing products in their shop and their architecture.
